At Ballyanly on Friday evening Inniscarra faced Nemo Rangers in u-11 football. The format consisted of two games of 11-a-side and both Inniscarra teams performed to a very high level against two strong Nemo teams.
Game 1A was a very even affair and Inniscarra held their own. Joseph Enright started in goal and made many important saves. Charlie Harkin, Ronan Steele, Paddy O'Herlihy and Ross O'Donovan formed a very strong back line. At midfield Mark Linehan was very strong while Cameron White had an outstanding game and was constantly on the ball. The forwards also performed quite well with Se O'Donoghue and Sean McLoughlin impressive. Sean McLoughlin scored a goal and a point while Darragh Aherne scored two fine goals. David Enright made a cameo appearance in the second half and showed some nice touches.

Game A1 was also a very entertaining game with high quality football played in a closely fought game. Padraig Buckley started in goal and had a fine game. The backs of Jacob Kelleher, Sean Naughton, Cillian Ryan and Luke Keogh stood firm and repelled many Nemo attacks. John Cussen and Brian Lowney were very impressive at midfield and kept a constant supply of ball going into the forwards. Aaron O'Donovan and Colm Heelan played a lot of ball with Harry Church scoring a point from a penalty after he was fouled in the square. Scott McElroy was very impressive and scored two very good goals.
