Inniscarra U-11 Hurling Team were invited by St Maur's H&F Club,Dublin to participate in this years Seamus Carton Memorial Tournament. The team left Inniscarra at 6.30 am Saturday 11th October, receiving a warm welcome on their arrival at 11 am. This is a very prestigious tournament in the Dublin Calender and attracted some excellent sides on the day. Inniscarra opened their account against St Maur's with an excellent performance, winning on a scoreline of  1-4 to 1-2.They followed this up with a very comprehensive victory over Kiltale on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0.00,qualifying the team for the final.St Maurs provided an excellent lunch for all involved with the facilities including two function rooms capable of catering to all. Inniscarra met Craobh Ciaran,one of the powerhouses of Dublin Juvenile Hurling in the final.Unfortunately they proved too strong for our lads in the final, the early start finally telling on the team where they lost out on a scoreline of 3-3 to 0.02.
