U-9s Show Their Skills

On Tuesday evening 32 enthusiastic U-9 hurlers from across the parish arrived at Ballyanly to take on Donoughmore in a challenge match. The players were divided into three teams of equal strength and each team played Donoughmore with the standard of hurling of the highest quality. Each of the three teams emerged victorious and all seemed to have enjoyed the games.

TEAM 1 panel: Kevin O'Connell. Colman Aherne, Ronan O'Keeffe, James Fairtlough, Trevor O'Reilly, Cian Lenane, Sean Murphy, Darragh O'Brien, Ryan Murphy, Colin Ring.

TEAM 2 panel: Aoghan Quinlivan, William O'Connell, Ross Foley, Robert Dooling, Sean O'Sullivan, Patrick Hayes, Niall Buckley, Daniel O'Connor, Conor O'Sullivan, Ben O'Connell, Ciam McKenzie.

TEAM 3 panel: Ben Gleeson, Jonathan Pigott, Micheal Lyons, David Linehan, Alex Neilan, Jack Fletcher, Darragh Lyons, Jack Scanlon, Tadhg Keohane, Blaine O'Farrell, Cormac Dineen

When the hurling matches finished the teams rounded off with a game of football. Thanks to all the coaches for their help and guidance and to the Donoughmore boys for providing the opposition.
