Inniscarra started slowly and trailed by five points to one, the Inniscarra point coming from a free from Jack Shine from the half way line after a good catch and clearance by Colman Aherne was gathered by Sean Og Holland who was fouled. Inniscarra were sluggish at this stage but a good interception by goalkeeper Conor Costelloe proved vital as his clearance was caught by Alan Heelan who fed Jack O'Mahony and he scored a beautiful point off his left side. Superb defending by Conor Gould and David Enright got the ball to Sean O'Sullivan and his pass to Kieran Keohane was inch perfect behind the defence and with just the goalkeeper to beat he struck for a fantastic goal. Inniscarra were now back in the game and a good catch by Colm Herlihy stopped an opposition attack.
